6.15pm Vigil Mass - (Saturday evening) fulfils the obligation of attending Mass on Sunday. During Mass traditional hymns are sung, accompanied by the organ.

8.30am Sunday Mass - Normally a Mass with no hymns (refered to as spoken)

10am "Family" Mass - The Sunday Mass which pays particular attention to the needs of families. During the first part of Mass some of the younger children (aged 3 to about 7) have their own Children's Liturgy, during which they listen to the Gospel, followed by an activity relating to the readings. Most Sundays the music at this Mass is supported by the Family Choir, comprised of musicians and singers of all ages.

11.30am Mass - There are three different choirs who in turn help the congregation at this Mass.
First Sunday of the month: Polyphony Choir
Third Sunday of the month: Plainchant Choir
Second and fourth Sunday's of the month: Hymn Choir

5pm Sunday Evening Mass - Normally a Mass with no hymns (refered to as spoken)

Weekday Mass

Monday to Saturday
Mass is celebrated at 10.00am on weekday mornings. The Church is normally open from 9am for personal prayer, and a group of Parishioners join together at 9.30am to pray Morning Prayer of the Church.

Early Morning Mass
In addition to the regular 10am Mass, on Friday mornings there is a 7.30am Mass, when two priests are available. Consult the Parish Newsletter or telephone to confirm (020-8679-3545).

Mass on Holy Days of Obligation

On Holy Days of Obligation which are on a Tuesday to Friday Mass is celebrated at 7.30am, 10.00am and 8.00pm. Holy Days which fall on a Saturday or Monday are usually transferred to the Sunday, and Masses are at the usual Sunday Times (see above). A list of the dates for Holy Days this year are shown below.

The Bishops of England and Wales have, after consulting the Vatican, revised the dates on which some Holy days of Obligation are celebrated. From Advent 2006 the solemnities of the Epiphany, the Ascension and Corpus Christi will now be celebrated on a Sunday.
